Phunemployment

In August of 2025, I launched Phunemployment in collaboration with fellow journalist Lou Balikos. Phunemployment is a monthly meetup in Philly for folks who are unemployed or underemployed. It’s an effort to bring people together during a time that can feel especially terrifying and isolating, and it acts as a space to commiserate, complain, laugh, freak out, or just listen.
